About the Club

The club has had a presence in Swanage in one form or another since 1885. You can find out more about the early history of the club here.

The club is conveniently placed near the centre of town and enjoys a patronage of hundreds of members. It provides a welcoming atmosphere and alternative to the various pubs and clubs in the area.

Among the facilities in the club are two bars, a snooker room with two full-sized tables, a pool table, multiple dart boards, a function room with a capacity of around 150 people, a lift to the club's first floor, a disabled toilet and a wide range of drinks and food at very competititve prices.
